Artist's statement :
I am a traditional abstract artist working primarily in pencil. Duality factors into almost all of my work, it starts with the white of the page and the black of the graphite and there are two sides and/or personalities to each piece I extend the bilateral notion to whatever I can. Sometimes I just do decorative work but most of the time I'm trying to express abstract concepts, thoughts and emotion like love, apathy, distress or dilemma in a much more lavish way than words could.
I'm hardworking. When I can't see it anymore, that's when I've gone into enough fine detail. You get your money's worth when you buy any of my work, I intend for it to be enjoyed for as long a time as possible. To this end I often combine many details and hide many more, thinking being that the best thing that could happen would be for my customer to buy some of my work and it make them happy, then months or even years later on notice something they'd missed and it make them happy all over again. I have a technical drawing background and the first step of creating most big projects is geometry. For the last few years each work has taken at least a month to complete, I don't cut corners, I try to take it to the limit every time. I give it everything I've got.
I hope you enjoy your visit to this site, here's the link to the best stuff and please excuse me for not writing my own bio in the third person like a proper professional artist, I couldn't bring myself to do it.
